Viewing Mondo Videos On Your Computer


Makeup Mondo videos are presented as streamed content on your desktop or laptop computers, and require the Adobe Flash Player plug-in to work correctly.

If you're having problems, test the functionality of the Flash player after disabling any popup blocking software on your computer, allow makeupmondo.com as a trusted site in your firewall software, and make sure that Flash is set as your default streaming application.

Downloading Mondo Videos To Your Computer


Makeup Mondo videos are also offered as downloadable files in a variety of formats tailored to your mobile devices. The first is an h264 codec MP4, for your ipod, iphone or portable video player, the second is a .3gp file, the default cross-platform mobile format, and finally we offer a Windows Media version (.wmv).

Saving and Sideloading


Simply click on the format of your choice and download the file to your desktop or other chosen location on your computer. From there "side-load" the file to the memory chip on your mobile device via USB, firewire or bluetooth. If there are problems, please consult your mobile device manual.

Uploading Videos To Makeup Mondo


Makeup Mondo does not support user generated video uploads directly nor indirectly to our site, although it is an area we're exploring for the future.

Sharing Mondo Videos With Your Friends


Mondo videos are built to be shared. Each time you select a video you want to stream, the play page has all the sharing resources you'll need. If you're not a member of Makeup Mondo, you'll be prompted to sign up (for free of course) so that you can share your videos with anyone in the whole wide world.

Copy and Paste each video's URL wherever you want to open that video's play page.

Bookmarking


Bookmark individual videos and build a personal play list in your browser.

Emailing A Link


Just drop down the "email a friend" form on the video play page fill out the fields and send the video link to your friends. It's that easy.

Embedding


Simply copy and paste the code into your blog, and you can play the video right from your own site. Just remember, adding the occasional video is totally fine, but trying to generate revenue, using our videos, for example, by compiling a site made up of our videos, is prohibited.

Posting


Makeup Mondo links to a variety of social networks and social bookmark sites. Just log in to post and share the link to the video.

RSS (Really Simple Syndication)


Makeup Mondo RSS is a feed that will keep you informed via your newsreader of every key change on our site. It's one of the best ways to keep up to date with new videos and offers.

Setting Up Your Mondo Account


Makeup Mondo videos are always free to stream, but if you want to download videos and get all the other benefits of our site, like sharing, and promotions (most of our goodies are yet to be rolled out but keep an eye out for free stuff!), you have to be a member. It's free, it's easy, and it's private.

Username and Password


To set up an account, click on the "join now" button which will take you to a very simple sign in page. Makeup Mondo is driven by email addresses, along with passwords which can be saved using the web standard format.

Optional Information


Makeup Mondo asks its users for interesting and fun information which will be used (and never sold) in order to bring you the best product we possibly can. Feel free to share your makeup favorites!

Mondo Mobile


Makeup Mondo will be rolling out a Makeup Mondo Mobile site shortly, and when we do we'll update this section,but right now the best way to make your Mondo mobile is by side-loading.

Mondo Link Banks


Makeup Mondo wants you to have every video you need at your fingertips, and wants you to be able to share that selection with your friends too. That's why we created a link bank with its own connectivity. As long as you've signed in to the site, your videos are automatically added to your link bank, which you can share as a link or an RSS (real simple syndication) feed using your favorite social bookmarking pathway.
